Europe : Comverse announced that EMOBILE Ltd., Japan’s newest mobile operator, has selected Comverse InSight™ Open Services Environment (OSE) and Comverse SMSC SMS text messaging solution to provide subscribers with a broad range of messaging and call completion value-added services.

Initial InSight services to be deployed include Voicemail, Call Return, Who CalledTM, and a range of personalization features. Comverse SMSC will handle text messaging between handsets as well as notification from various applications. The modular, open IP architecture and the Total Communication experience brought to fruition by the InSight OSE meet the rapidly changing service and business needs of a new operator by enabling reduced operating expenses and rapid cost-effective deployment of new services.
