Europe Portugal : : Vodafone and TVI launched the TVI 24-hour channel on the Vodafone Mobile TV service.

The TVI channel of the Vodafone Mobile TV service broadcasts live the majority of TVI programmes (soaps, news bulletins and all programmes whose rights are held by TVI). In addition to the news bulletins that were already broadcast, Vodafone Customers can now watch TVI programmes on their mobile phones such as Morangos com Açúcar, Ilha dos Amores, Doce Fugitiva, Tu e Eu, and Tardes de Júlia, among others.

The TVI channel joins the basic offer of channels available on the Vodafone Mobile TV service, and is available to all Customers who subscribe to one of the subscription options for the service – 24-hour subscription (0.90 euros) or 30 days subscription (7.50 euros).

With the addition of the TVI channel to the Vodafone Mobile TV service, Vodafone becomes the only mobile operator to offer its customers the three generalist national channels (RTP, SIC and TVI) broadcast 24 hours a day.

The Vodafone Mobile TV service currently offers a selection of 26 channels including, in addition to the three generalist national channels, channels such as AXN, MTV Music, Panda, Discovery Mobile, CNN and Euronews, among many others.
