Europe : The recently covered cities – where T-Mobile subscribers can connect to the net via broadband – include: Budakeszi, Balatonszéplak, Kaposvár, Nyíregyháza, Székesfehérvár, Szombathely, Taksony, Tihany, Salgótarján, Szekszárd, Zalaegerszeg, Üröm, Dunakeszi and Veresegyháza.

Customers of the market leader mobile operator can now browse on the web in even more cities at data speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps and they can draw upon the advantages offered by the recently renewed mobile Internet tariff packages in the majority of the country’s territory. Assuming a subscription for 1 or 2 years, customers can use the Internet for half the price till year end – amounting to HUF 2,895 monthly in case of the 2 GB Internet tariff packages.

As the major advantage, mobile Internet – in areas covered by the 3G/HSDPA network – offers high bandwidth access while customers are free to move. In other words, subscribers can carry their notebooks – along with Internet access – to even Lake Balaton for their vacation. In addition, mobile Internet is easily accessible: following the purchase the Internet connection becomes active immediately. For customers subscribing for the Internet either now or switching over to a new Internet package, the whole range of T-Mobile’s promotional offers (including notebook + netcard + mobile Internet) are available, significantly simplifying the first steps.

This year T-Mobile substantially increases its broadband network as well as the bandwidth offered. Following successful testing, within parts of its Budapest network the operator already offers download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speeds of 1.45 Mbps.
