Europe : Vodafone Romania announced the launch of Vodafone live! with 3G.

Vodafone live! with 3G introduces two new innovative music services: Radio DJ and Full Track Music Downloads.

Vodafone Radio DJ enables customers to tailor music to their tastes based on a unique personalization system. It is the world's first fully convergent music service offering interactive personalized radio channels streamed to both 3G mobile phones and personal computers.

With Vodafone Radio DJ, customers have access to hundreds of thousand of songs from the world's largest record companies, and independent labels.

Vodafone Radio DJ service includes three main elements:

-- Personal Channels created by the customer, based on their preferred genres, mood and musical decade.

-- Pre-defined channels created by music experts, covering local and international charts and most listened music genres. Customers can rate the all the tracks they listen to. The preferred ones will be added to a personal channel and also made available for download.

-- Collections of songs which are grouped around a theme, compilations like.

Full Track Music Downloads is a mobile music catalogue currently offering over 500.000 full tracks at CD audio quality, from Sony BMG, Universal, Warner Music, EMI, Roton, Media Pro Music and others.

In exclusivity, Vodafone Romania customers will be able to watch on mobile Depeche Mode's press conference in Bucharest, before their 23rd June concert, as well as the band's interview and fragments from the concert. The Depeche Mode concert is part of the Vodafone Best Music program running this year that also includes the Shakira .concert in Timisoara, on July 17th. Shakira content will be available on Vodafone live! with 3G, too - stay tuned!

The service is being offered together with 8 dedicated handsets, out of which 5 are exclusive Vodafone models (Nokia 6234, Sharp GX 29, Sharp GX17, Samsung ZV10, Sagem my 400v). The Vodafone live! with 3G handsets offer a seamless customer experience, fast and easy access to the portal and personalized content.

Vodafone live! with 3G comes together with a new, easy to understand pricing model, with two affordable access options: US $0.20 per session for unlimited free browsing, and US $5 monthly fee for unlimited free browsing plus 1 ring tone, 50 SMS and 25 MMS.
