Marketing Muscle at 3G Operator 3 UK |

Europe UK : 3, the mobile media company, today announces the appointment of two new senior marketers. PMorgan Holt, Director of Television, Music and Internet Morgan Holt, Director of Television, Music and Internet, joins from Endemol, the largest independent television production company in the country. At Endemol he was Head of Endemol Mobile and Executive Producer for Broadcast, he oversaw the creative development and production of all Endemol’s television support on mobile, web, and interactive TV. Holt will be responsible for developing innovative and engaging services to build upon 3’s leadership in mobile entertainment. He will lead the Music, Mobile TV and internet teams at 3 and reports to Graeme Oxby, Marketing Director. Gary Pepler, Director of Brand and Marketing Communications Gary Pepler has been appointed Director of Brand and Marketing Communications. Pepler joins with over twenty years marketing communications experience, both in-house and agency-side in the B2B and B2C sectors. His most recent corporate role was with Sony Europe as Director of Marketing Communications and he has held a number of other senior roles including Managing Director of Publicis:SMI and Director of Global Advertising for Nortel Networks. In the new role, Pepler will be responsible for 3’s brand, advertising and marketing communications. He will develop 3’s young, fun and different brand as the company expands its presence on High Street and strengthens its position as the UK’s leading mobile media company. He will also report to Graeme Oxby, Marketing Director. Graeme Oxby, Marketing Director said: “We’re delighted to welcome both Morgan and Gary to 3. This is an exciting time for us as we continue to create the mobile media market in the UK. 3 has a unique opportunity to set itself apart from the old networks with exciting products and services and a brand for the mobile generation.” Morgan Holt Director of TV, Music and Internet said; "3 is already far ahead in their desire to understand their customers. I am looking forward to the brand opportunities ahead.” 3 won ‘new brand of the year’ at the 2005 marketing society awards, more recently 3 was awarded Mobile Entertainment Operator of the Year at the MEF Awards 2006. |
