Partnership to Deliver Multipoint Video Conferencing to European 3G Mobile Phones
6th June , 2006

US : Codian, Inc announced it has partnered with DyLogic, a leading provider of open-architecture, carrier grade and enterprise 3G-IMS solutions, to offer European enterprise customers a fully integrated solution for 'on the road' video conferencing using 3G mobile phones.

Inset is David Holloway, CEO of Codian quoted below.

With this partnership Codian's MCU 4200, IP VCR 2200 and ISDN GW 3200 gateway, will be integrated with DyLogic's PSE 3G gateway. The cost effective, turn-key, enterprise solution will enable 3G mobile phone users to join multipoint video conferences, to connect with any IP standards-based video endpoints or to ISDN video equipment.

The companies will also be offering solutions specifically designed for large service providers and carriers.

"DyLogic is focused on the development of innovative 3G and IMS compliant video conferencing products," said Emanuele Berti, DyLogic's CEO. "The combination of Codian MCU with our PSE 3G Gateway provides enterprises with a best-in-class solution for 3G multipoint conferencing. We're thrilled to be working with Codian, and look forward to combining the innovative technologies from both companies."

Codian and DyLogic have conducted extensive testing to ensure interoperability between their equipment and other vendors' SIP, H.323, H.320 standards-based equipment and a wide range of 3G handsets.

Applications include enabling sales teams to participate in conferences while traveling, giving teleworkers access to video conferencing, and providing mobile users access to webcasts or training videos.

"Businesses today rely on communication technology to be competitive. By partnering with DyLogic we are able to extend corporate video communications to mobile users," said David Holloway, CEO of Codian. "Codian's Universal Port technology means that 3G video can easily be included in a conference while maintaining the highest voice and video quality for each participant. We are excited about working with DyLogic to provide enterprises with these unique mobile video solutions."

All products are available from Codian and DyLogic through their respective sales representatives, distributors and resellers throughout EMEA.
