ASIA : 3 Hong Kong (“3HK”) announced that it is extending its range of 3G video mobile phones with the introduction of the stylish LG 8120 handset supplied by LG Electronics. Additionally, a range of new and enhanced services for trendsetters – including location and fortune-telling services, Korean entertainment and cartoon content plus an enhanced traffic channel – offer a fabulous user experience to 3 3G customers.

3-3G- customers can now enjoy two useful location services, namely “My Nearest” and “Follow Me, Follow U”, via the newly launched “Locate” channel.

“My Nearest” is a unique mobile location guide which automatically displays useful and practical information on more than 15,000 points of interest with maps provided instantly with a simple press of a button on customers’ video mobile phones. “My Nearest” covers eleven categories, including restaurants, cinemas, karaoke, pubs and bars, banks, ATMs, taxi stands, car parks, petrol stations, massage and Hong Kong Jockey Club betting centres.

3-3G- customers can now keep closer links with their family, friends and colleagues who are also 3-3G- users with the unique “Follow Me, Follow U” service. Hottest Korean entertainment and cartoon content plus real-time traffic conditions
To cater to fans of well-known Korean stars, 3HK is unveiling new service content to showcase hit music videos of Korean singers provided by Avex. In addition to the hottest music videos, wallpaper of well-known patented characters and artists as well as ring-tones from the latest dramas, movies and pop songs are also available for download.

Cartoon is a great favourite among the trendsetters at leisure time. Cartoon fans can now enjoy the most amusing cartoon content on the newly launched “Cartoon” channel. “Master Q” and “Kayin Mama” are there to greet every 3-3G- customer.

In order to arrive at events and gatherings on time, 3-3G- customers can browse the “Traffic” channel to keep updated on the latest traffic conditions. The channel has recently enhanced its service scope to include up to 24 hot traffic locations on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.
