Vodafone live! Mobile Partnership in Belgium

22nd June , 2004

Europe : Proximus, Belgium’s largest mobile operator, and End2End, Europe’s leading managed service solution provider for mobile data services, today announced that they have expanded their partnership with the launch of Vodafone live! in Belgium.

The companies partnered in early 2003 to deliver content download services to Proximus subscribers via Proximus’ Game Zone, which enabled the downloading of Java and Mophun games to a wide range mobile handsets. Proximus has now expanded its services offering with the launch of Vodafone live!, which provides subscribers with access to a variety of content, including polyphonic ringtones, logos, colour wallpapers, and games. Subscribers can access the services through Vodafone live! handsets, including the Sagem myV-55, and Sharp GX15 and GX30.

End2End is delivering the Vodafone live! Games Arcade in Belgium as a managed service solution. End2End is also supplying content as part of the solution.

End2End’s managed service solutions are already powering content downloads in over 20 countries, including Vodafone live! services in Egypt, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and now Belgium, which is the 17th country to launch Vodafone live! since its initial launch in October 2002.

“We partnered with End2End last year because of its track record of delivering high quality, professional managed service solutions for mobile data,” said Xavier Huberland, Director Consumer Mobile Division, Proximus. “We have experienced End2End’s high quality service delivery, innovation, and business benefits first hand, which is why we wanted to expand our partnership with End2End to also include Vodafone live!”

“We are pleased to further expand our relationship with the Vodafone Group with the launch of Vodafone live! in Belgium, our fourth successful Vodafone live! country,” said Soren Ravn, CEO, End2End. “The expansion of our partnership with Proximus with the launch of Vodafone live! further demonstrates End2End’s ability to continuously deliver high quality managed service solutions that meet the developing needs of our customers.”
