Wapme Systems extends wireless partnership with KPN Mobile by i-mode service in the Netherlands
27th June 2002

MeetPeople, the product classic of the mobile internet pioneer and first mobile and interactive contact and dating service of its kind, is now set to enhance also the Dutch i-modeTM portal of KPN Mobile after a successful launch on the German portal.

This enables Wapme Systems to extend the partnership of many years with KPN Mobile, the leading mobile communications operator in the Netherlands. Since spring 2000, "MeetPeople" is offered already on the WAP portal in the Netherlands where it is considered a successful application and, with time, has won over many users.

After the launch of i-modeTM by E-Plus in Germany now also all customers of KPN Mobile are provided with the opportunity to use i-modeTM services.

So once again, Wapme Systems AG proves its excellent customer relations and service qualities.

The dating product has been specially adjusted to suit the KPN portal, so that it now comprises the already known features, e.g.:

- fast finding of partners for leisure time, entertainment, culture or sport by personalized matching

- suitable search results are directly transmitted to the handset, the message is sent to the mobile phone via e-mail push

- image service and color display.

The user is notified by a picture of the requested partner, if a picture is stored. Blind dates are therefore a thing of the past.

Moreover, menu items can be controlled via icons and pull-down menus, so that the overall structure is now clearer than ever.

After an initial free trial period the complete service - apart from some basic functions - will be available for a monthly subscription fee of 2.00 Euro.

Again, Wapme Systems AG invests into the future: Meet People is exactly what i-modeTM is all about which is why Wapme Systems AG will expand with i-mode™ in Europe.
