Reaffirming its commitment to lead the rich media personal communication market, Emblaze Systems Ltd announced that it has signed an agreement with Logica, the global solutions company and leader in mobile messaging and mobile payments solutions, to deliver the best user experience for Multimedia Messaging (MMS). Logica will incorporate Emblazes wireless media platform together with the Multimedia Messaging module of its Messaging Platform. Using The Messaging Platform from Logica the two companies will demonstrate live mobile Multimedia Messaging over GPRS networks at the CommunicAsia show and conference in Singapore, June 18-21, 2002. The demo will allow users to either record and send a message or send a predefined clip from PC or PDA to MMS phones (namely Nokia 7650 and Ericsson T68i), over live GPRS networks. Demonstrations will be carried out at the Logica Booth (5D3-01) and the Emblaze Booth (5E1-01). Together, Logica and Emblaze will be offering joint technical and commercial trials to enrich each others product offering thanks to the synergies between the Multimedia Messaging module of The Messaging Platform from Logica and Emblazes media streaming technology. Eli Reifman, Chief Executive Officer of Emblaze said: Emblaze is unequivocally committed to leading the transformation of the rich media personal communication market. The agreement with market leader, Logica, underpins the strength of this commitment. We believe that the MMS module of Logicas Messaging Platform, combined with our solutions for rich media delivery over 2.5G and 3G networks, will provide the best user experience and attract people to use and pay for MMS next generation services. Gerry McKenna Chief Executive of Logica Messaging commented This partnership illustrates our commitment to make available to our extensive customer base the best of next generation solutions and technologies. Logica and Emblaze product synergies will enable network operators to offer innovative and attractive rich media services to their customers. |
