Samsung Wave Tops A Million
![]() |
Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung Wave has achieved over 1 million sales worldwide. The Samsung Wave was launched on 1st June this year. Details of sales are limited but it is believed that 300K were sold in Korea and the remainder in Asia and Europe.
The Samsung Wave is the first mobile phone from Samsung to sport the new Samsung Bada operating system. We are not surprised that Samsung’s first mobile with Samsung Bada sold this well. Our review of the Samsung Wave confirmed “The social networking functionality is fantastic, as is contacts syncing, the camera and the gorgeous super-AMOLED touch-screen”.

The news of one million sales of the Samsung Wave , with its new Samsung Bada operating system, looks to be a sound footing for all the follow up Bada powered mobile phones from Samsung.
