3G VideoBlog for 3G UMTS Mobile Phones

Europe : Mobaila, a company focused on the creation of new contents and formats for broadband and UMTS markets, together with “3” - the italian Mobile Video Company of Hutchison Whampoa Group, leader in UMTS market with more than 3,5 millions subscribers – launched today the first VideoBlog for 3G mobile phones.

The VideoBlog – somewhere between a video diary and a personal magazine – is extremely easy to use, since users can access it with a simple VideoCall. By placing a VideoCall to the short code number 4380, it is possible to reach an interactive menu. Users can navigate the menu by using the mobile phone keypad, just like a remote control– with the options of watching a particular VideoBlog or recording a new videomessage that will be available to everyone who accesses the service.

The new worldwide emerging trend in communication – the blog – reaches the 3G mobile video phones for the first time thanks to Mobaila and “3”. From now on, it will be possible to tell everybody all the stories you want - all with the added impact of video (and mobility, as well).

The service features bloggers such as “Elio e Le Storie Tese” –the most loved Italian group for the last 25 years with more than 1 million records sold and 10 albums, - and other 4 incredible VIPs: the VJ Joe, the model Terry, the artist Valeria and the dancer Stefania.

The VideoBlog service is available today in Italy; Mobaila is working to launch it in other countries in the near future.
