The iPhone 6 isn’t cheap and it already looks pretty great, but if you’ve got the money to spare you can get a far more expensive version.
Brikk, a company behind various luxury modified iPhones, has announced the Lux iPhone 6 Diamond Select, a phone which comes in a choice of 24k yellow gold, 24k pink gold or 950 platinum.
Whichever option you choose it will also be encrusted with conflict free diamonds along all four edges, the top and bottom strips at the back and even the entire Apple logo. On the iPhone 6 that amounts to 9.24 carats of diamonds, while on the iPhone 6 Plus it’s 12.8 carats.
All that will cost you a wallet-decimating $42,995 (roughly £28,635) for the iPhone 6 and $56,995 (around £37,958) for the iPhone 6 Plus. If somehow you feel the need to spend even more money after that you can pay an additional $5000 (£3330) to get it configured with 256 bit hardware encryption for secure communication.
Now that you’ve got yourself a phone that costs more than many people make in a year you might be worried about damaging it, but fear not, because it comes with a custom fitted, 24k gold plated custom Zero Halliburton case with carbon fibre and sued leather. Bargain.
And in case you get accused of gluing crystals to your phone it also comes with a diamond-embedded certificate of authenticity. Because it wouldn’t be a certificate without diamonds.
