The Sony Xperia S will be hitting the UK on March 5th according to online retailer Clove.
Sony's first smartphone will be available on O2, Three, T-Mobile , Orange and exclusively in white from Phones 4U. The Clove have priced the Xperia S at £468 SIM-free, which is a high-price but one which reflects the high-end specification it has.
The Xperia S is the first Xperia smartphone to feature a dual-core processor (1.5GHz) and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It also packs a 4.3 inch Mobile Bravia touch-screen with a 720p (1280*720 pixel) resolution and a whopping 12 mega-pixel camera.
Supported connectivity includes 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC. On-board memory comes in at 32GB and the only downside of the mobile is it'll launch on Android Gingerbread, but will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich shortly after launch.
None of the operators have unveiled their Xperia S tariffs yet, but once they do you'll be the first to know.
