Europe : The launch of the iPhone on Vodafone is only a week away.
Vodafone have been offering free Vodafone-Vodafone calls for anyone pre-ordering the mobile, but this offer was supposed to expire at the end of 2009. However, Vodafone have extended the offer and anyone pre-ordering an iPhone from Vodafone will get free Vodafone to Vodafone calls.
The free calls to other Vodafone customers will be available throughout the duration of the customers’ contract.
Vodafone hope the free calls, as well as free texts available on all but the cheapest tariff; will lure customers to their network over O2 and Orange, who also offer the iPhone.
The iPhone is a splendid mobile device and has achieved massive success worldwide and the addition of Vodafone will no doubt increase sales further, although we’re slightly disappointed we haven’t seen more of a price war.
You can pre-order the iPhone from Vodafone by clicking here.
