ASIA : Pantech&Curitel introduces a pendant-look mobile phone - Curitel PH-K2500V. Only 56 mm wide and 67 mm tall, PH-K2500V may well be your lucky charm around your neck. This small handset features a notable TTS function that converts a text message into a voice message. TTS is particularly useful when you are too busy to answer or not within the reach. Its speaker mode will spell out incoming text messages in voice. Furthermore, your menu, phonebook and the unanswered calls can be read out to you.

For music lovers, PH-K2500V plays MP3 songs and lets you control the music from the outside without opening the folder. Internal memory can save up to 16 songs, while the 64-poly Yamaha enhances the sound quality. VOD(Video on Demand) and MOD(Music on Demand) functions can be supported via Fimm service offered by KTF, a Korean wireless service company.

For camcorder-manias, PH-K2500 comes with a 1.3Mpix camera, equipped with 10-level digital zoom, white balance auto control, sticker photos, and timer function. Recording MPEG-4 moving clips, you can distribute to friends by MMS or e-mail. Sound recording is improved an extra sensitive microphone next to camera lens., enabling Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) to achieve high quality sound.

Another attraction of PH-K2500V is OCR (Optical Character Reader) function which can recognize text from JPEG files. For instance, it can scan the business card, and the information on the business card is saved by text. This OCR is very useful when a pile of business cards is to be stored on your handset. Also, electronic dictionary(34,000 words with definitions) is embedded with examples, memo and highlight tools. PH-K2500V is available in silver, blue or red.
