ASIA : Vodafone K.K. announced it will offer a new Sha-mail picture messaging handsets for sale after mid-February, the V302T by Toshiba.

Main Features of the V302T (Manufactured by Toshiba)
• Glows in Seven Different Colors
The V302T can softly glow in seven different luminescent colors while receiving calls, recharging the battery or during other activities. One can also customize the glow colors and patterns to one’s taste. In addition, the V302T can be used as a night light when recharging.
• Buddy Mail
The V302T comes with Buddy Mail for chat-style communication enjoyment. One can compose a new mail while displaying previously received mail for easy conversation. One can also attach pictures to Buddy Mail and directly display received pictures in compositions.
• Limit Mode
Limit Mode allows customers to set rules of usage for their V302T, such as limits on when the
handset is used, restrictions on the amount of voice calls and mails to designated parties, and
caps on call times and the number of mails sent.
• Portuguese Language Support
In addition to English, the V302T can display menus in Portuguese. Mail messages composed in Portuguese can also be automatically converted into PNG graphic files and sent as attachments, making it possible to display Portuguese on other handset models and PC
screens. (*One can use the @Sha-mail service to send mails to handsets incapable of displaying PNG files).
• Simple Mode 2
For high ease-of-use and large font display, the V302T comes with Simple Mode 2, which makes it easy for beginners and the elderly to use the handset. By setting up to two dial numbers, a customer can make a call at one touch of a button.
