Brand for Wireless Mobile Computing |

The technologies include a newly designed microprocessor, integrated wireless capability (Wi-Fi 802.11) as well as related chipsets and software. The CentrinoTM mobile technology will make it possible to create thinner and lighter notebook computers with built-in wireless capability, extended battery life and improved performance. Centrino-based systems are scheduled to be introduced later in the first half of 2003. Personal computers with CentrinoTM mobile technology was displayed at the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show. |
