The Samsung SCH-V310 will have an integrated 300,000 pixel digital camera, featuring a two-power zoom lens with nine settings. The SCH-V310 is capable of making 2-way video calls, supporting video on demand service or recording and storing video clips complete with sound. The main screen is a TFT-LCD that can reproduce 262,000 color shades, while a 256-color organic electro-luminescent display is placed on the outside. "Mobile phones have come a long way from black and white displays to color displays. Today, next-generation models have built-in cameras, and now built-in camcorders," said Samsung senior director Kim Jong-In. We believe the demand
for camcorder phones will increase and account for 10 percent to 15
percent of the Korean mobile phone market by year-end, Kim said in a
statement.
