Video Compatability Achieved In Japan |

The launch by J-Phone of its 3G Service "VGS ( Vodafone Global Standards ) in December means that users of its new VGS compatible V-N701 NEC 3G Mobile can now exchange videos with J-Phone and NTT DoCoMo 3G users. The four 3G Mobiles in the current NTTDoCoMo range with video capability are Matsushita P2101V and D2101V, Sharp SH2101V and Toshiba T2101V. Both Vodafone's VGS and NTT's FOMA are 3G-324M compatible. This standard specifies picture and audio standards to be met for video and sound interchangeability functions.
