The Samsung Galaxy S II is now available to pre-order from online retailer Expansys. The price of the new smartphone is £649.99 for a SIM-free 16GB version of the Android powerhouse.
The Samsung Galaxy S II is a hugely powerful smartphone which has a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board memory (32GB version also available).
The S II also features a huge 4.27 inch touch-screen which runs at a resolution of 800*480 pixels and also features two cameras. A rear-facing 8 mega-pixel camera can record 1080p HD video, while the front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel camera can be used for video-calling.
The Samsung Galaxy S II is powered by Android 2.3 and therefore supports Near-Field Communications (NFC). Additional features include Wi-Fi Direct for wireless printing, Samsung Live Panel and Live Feeds.
The Samsung Galaxy S II will be launching in March , so we'd expect the operators to add the device to their websites very soon.
