Well Ria from the Orange handset division has decided to give the Samsung Solid Extreme B2100 the “tough girl” treatment. Samsung say the Samsung Solid Extreme B2100 is shock resistant, water and dust proof and had noise cancellation qualities.

The demo starts with Ria lobbing the Samsung Solid Extreme B2100 into a few of London’s puddles and it still works. The handset is then lobbed and hurled onto some grassed area and hey presto it still works.

Next comes the “noise cancellation” test in a busy London road. Ria passes the Samsung Solid Extreme B2100 again. Then Ria unloads the handset into a large glass of water and proves it still works underwater.
