O2 and Huawei have put together a demo of their joint 3G LTE capabilities. Rob Joyce from the O2 Evolution Team confirmed that O2’s 3G LTE will be capable of supplying 150Mbps download speeds, compared to today’s 3G download speed of 10-15Mbps. O2 UK announced they were launching 3G LTE Trials back in October, 2009.

The demo below shows a live demo of 3G LTE in a real time, live network situation. The demo features a number of streams over an Archos device ( portable media player ). A high screen video can be downloaded within 2 minutes at a constant download rate of 8 Mbps as shown on the 3G LTE download meter. The demo closes with an explanation of real time 3G LTE gaming possibilities.
