LG have announced a new mobile phone, the LG Mini (LG GD880).

The LG Mini is the smallest and thinnest 3.2 inch touch screen mobile in the world. It’s refreshing to see a smaller mobile to cater to people who don’t want a huge smart-phone in their pocket all day.

The touch-screen has a widescreen (16:9) aspect ratio, making it perfect for multimedia playback and internet browsing. Additionally, the screen extends all the way to the edge of the phone giving it a sleek finish. Adding to this is the metal accents that feature on the sides of the LG Mini.

The LG Mini has a 5 mega-pixel camera with advanced face detection, which can be used to upload tags photos to social networks in one simple step. It also has music and movie playback capability and has an FM radio. In terms of connectivity the LG Mini supports Wi-Fi and 3G. It also has a built-in A-GPS for your navigational needs.

Social network capability also features on the LG Mini with Social Network Connect software, which has built-in applications for all the major social networks and also provides a Social Network Feed which automatically displays your friends’ latest updates on your phones homescreen.

The LG Mini will launch in Europe in March.
