Europe UK : O2 announced the launch of the O2 Xda Orbit 2. A sleek, stylish portable device featuring pre-installed Sat Nav bringing turn-by-turn directions to your fingertips and Windows Mobile™ 6 operating system, the Xda Orbit 2 is now more powerful than ever.

The O2 Xda Orbit 2 builds upon the success of its predecessor the Xda Orbit. Originally launched in 2006, Xda Orbit is O2’s best selling Xda to date.

O2’s Xda Orbit 2 comes in two variants; the first is bundled with the award winning CoPilot Live 7 satellite navigation software. Whether you’re on foot or travelling by car, the device provides users with detailed and accurate directions, making dedicated navigation systems unnecessary. For business users Xda Orbit 2 is available without the Co Pilot 7 software, enabling customers to select the option best suited to their business needs.

With both 3G and WiFi network capabilities, the O2 Xda Orbit 2 lets you keep in touch wherever you are* Operating on Windows Mobile™ 6 the Xda Orbit 2 also supports key business email solutions such as Microsoft™ Direct Push Email, providing customers with real time access to inbox, calendar, contacts and tasks on the move. In addition, the Xda Orbit 2 also includes Microsoft Office tools enabling users to open, edit and send Microsoft Office Excel Mobile, Word Mobile and view PowerPoint Mobile documents.

The O2 Xda Orbit 2 is a multi-functional device that combines a 3 mega pixel camera including video capability, an FM radio and MP3 player, all of which are optimised by an expandable memory of up to 32GB.

John Davies, Head of O2 Branded Devices Marketing, O2 UK, said; “The new O2 Xda Orbit 2 provides customers with one of the most powerful devices on the market. Our partnership with CoPilot enables us to offer our customers the ultimate navigation experience.
