Discovery Mobile Launched

Europe UK : From February 2006, UK fans of Discovery’s nine UK channels will be able to access content and services from their favourite shows via their mobile phones and other portable devices with the launch of Discovery Mobile.

Discovery Mobile can be accessed from any network (restrictions may apply) by texting DISCOVERY to 83200 or by accessing the web browser of a handset and typing in “discoverymobile.co.uk”.

To celebrate the launch of its mobile site Discovery Mobile is offering exclusive content and prizes from the hit TV series Miami Ink. Currently airing on Sunday evenings at 10pm on Discovery Real Time, Miami Ink follows the lives of four tattoo artists, and old friends, as they aim to set-up and run a custom tattoo parlour and showcase their artwork together.

Discovery Mobile is giving consumers the opportunity to download images of Miami Ink favourite characters and tattoos, catch up with highlights of the show with video downloads and follow the progress of the tattoo parlour apprentice, Yoji, with clips exclusive to Discovery Mobile!
