Hosted 3G Video Calling Participation TV Solution

Israel : iPoint-media, a leading provider of 3G/IP application and service platform , announced today that it will be unveiling its new Vitrage PTV™, a Hosted 3G Video Calling Participation TV Solution at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona.

The Vitrage™ platform and its various solutions will be demonstrated live by the iPoint-media team at the 3GSM World Congress, the premier wireless event, February 13-16, 2006 in Barcelona, Spain. iPoint-media is part of the IMA (Israeli Mobile Association) brokerage event, taking place at Hall 4, level 1.

Vitrage PTV™ offers a comprehensive solution to the Participation TV marketplace. Participating audience can use any 3G camera equipped handset to make a video call to a dedicated service number (premium or short code) during the live broadcast and optionally go live on-air. The caller gets into a queue and screened by the production team before going live. When the caller is sent on air the caller’s video image appears on television and seen by TV viewers.

Vitrage PTV™ inbuilt Multimedia IVR features customizable call flows with pre-built menus, media content and clips and enables provisioning of sessions , service selection , promotions , ads, authentication services, and age verification.

Vitrage PTV™ enables caller participation to take place before, during and after the show:



Before the show - callers can experience content, express opinions and leave recorded video messages for other callers to view (“Video blog”).



During the show - Selected callers are interviewed by the production team and optionally sent on air.



After the show - callers view selected parts of the show, watch “behind the scenes” clips, and leave video messages for other callers to view.


The platform supports multiple TV shows and TV studios on the same physical platform (multi-tenancy)
