Europe
: Tecnomen has been selected by VOXmobile S.A., Luxembourg's fastest
growing mobile operator, to provide Next Generation Video Mail Solution
for 3G network. The total solution also includes a Video Gateway.
Video Mail is
an essential component of every 3G network as it bridges 2G and
3G technology, thereby increasing the adoption rate of video telephony
services. With Tecnomen Video Mail operators ensure a successful
completion of video calls, and subscribers can take full advantage
of available video telephony services. If a video call is not answered
– the called party is busy, out of 3G network coverage or
not available – it will be forwarded to the Video Mail service.
The caller will see the subscriber´s personalised video greeting
and can then leave a video message.
Tecnomen Video
Mail supports a variety of message access and delivery options,
including via video and legacy telephones, MMS terminals, web and
e-mail.
"Following
the successful launch of Tecnomen´s Multimedia Messaging Service
Centre (MMSC) and a complete suite of value-added mobile messaging
solutions, we are delighted that VOXmobile has decided to complement
their service offering with our Video Mail solution,” says
Mr Eero Mertano, Vice President, Sales, Tecnomen. “Tecnomen
Video Mail opens up whole new opportunities for VOXmobile´s
customers to express themselves. They can create their own video
greetings for their Video Mail Box, or download predefined greetings.”
"Having
searched the market for a technology that would enable us to provide
all services we want, we found that Tecnomen´s open and flexible
Next Generation Video Mail was the only solution that met our exact
requirements. Tecnomen´s Video Mail technology not only ensures
that all video calls are completed successfully, but also that everyone
can receive video messages regardless of the choice of their device,”
says Mr Pascal Koster, Managing Director of VOXmobile . “We
are keen to expand our partnership with Tecnomen for providing our
customers with innovative, easy-to-use services.”
