Inset is Chief Executive Officer of 3 Italy, Vincenzo Novari who is quoted below. The service will be available in voice 24 hours a day and in video from 8.00 to 22.00. As such 3 becomes the first mobile telecommunications operator in the world to offer the video functionality between the customer and the call center, combining the benefits of the traditional model of a physical help desk ("face to face" with a person in flesh and blood), with the practicality and speed of mobile communications. "The behaviorist psychology taught us that 60% of the communication process depends on visual elements: face expressions, gesture expressiveness and position of the body while interacting with the client can enrich in a significant way not only communication between customer and company, - underlined 3's CEO, Vincenzo Novari- but also the working experience of the call center employees". With VIDEO412 it's possible to search for a phone number by knowing the relevant name or address, or vice versa to know the name from the relevant number and finally to find a name and the relevant number from the product category. Two claims for the leaflets available in the 4600 3 shop: "We give the numbers looking in your eyes" and "The information you are looking for, the smile that you find", a new and immediate way to "tell" the contents of a world preview service. The novelty introduced by 3 is a new element in the changing of the Directory Assistance sector and it'll soon induce the offer of multimedia information, for example the trailer of a movie or the digital map to reach the movie theater. The service is offered jointly with InfoCall S.p.A., booming company in the Directory Assistance area for fixed and mobile network users. Also on a technological point of view the VIDEO412 service is based on forefront technologies, using "video on IP" and SIP protocol. A distinctive feature: the operators are original of Sorrento and can dispose of a beautician and a diction teacher. The prices (VAT included): 60c€/min for the vocal access, 1,32€ for the Videocall; in both cases there's a 1,32€ set up fee. For the launch of the service, until April 30th, 3 offers the videocall access at the same price of the vocal one. |
