| New Family of Timestar EDGE Wireless Transmitter Solutions |

| Europe France : Tropian, Inc announces today the availability of samples for its new family of GSM/GPRS/EDGE transmitter devices TP15321/2/3/4. Tropian's pioneering development of the POLAR IMPACT(R) transmitter brings a needed solution to the cellular market. With this approach, Tropian is uniquely able to simultaneously address the four key issues limiting the performance of EDGE mobile products in the market today: -- Dramatically lowered power consumption when transmitting in EDGE mode. The very high efficiency of this solution will result in better than 50% improvement in the usable transmit time of EDGE/GSM handsets. This also largely eliminates the thermal management issues of current solutions, resulting in a "cool" phone and lower costs. -- Increased transmit output power: Critical to the performance of EDGE handsets, high output power translates directly to higher average data rates per channel. Operating at the top of power class E2 is also beneficial to the Operators as it results in increased network efficiency for data services. -- True Multi-slot Class12 and Class29 support: These Timestar(R) products are the first products in the market that operate at true Class12 and Class29 (4 and 8 transmit slots respectively). Link adaptability is fully implemented, adjusting output power and modulation for maximum data rate operation. -- Cost Effective solution: Timestar products are implemented in a low cost CMOS process, with high levels of peripheral integration resulting in a cost effective and very stable high volume implementation.
