Huawei 3G Solutions Next

Huawei Technologies showcased its total mobile solution at the 3GSM World Congress 2003 in Cannes. Huawei Technologies will show its total solutions of UMTS, as well as GSM/GPRS, Mobile Operator WLAN, Mobile Intelligent Network, Mobile Data Service Platform, SMSC/MMSC, and Optical Transport Solution for Mobile Systems.

As one of the leading vendors in the telecommunications industry, the company reported sales revenue of US$2.7 billion in the fiscal year of 2002. Its 2G/2.5G mobile solutions have been deployed in 32 countries, and over 20 UMTS trial networks have been established in China, Russia, U.A.E. etc. And there had been 300 million subscribers for Huawei TELLIN intelligent network by the end of 2002. In October 2002, Huawei helped China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC), the largest mobile operator in China, to put into service the country's first and still the only commercial MMS system. And in the same month, Huawei released the world's most compact 12-TRX macro NodeB and UMTS Core Network based on soft switch architecture. In November 2002, Huawei was further selected by CMCC as the major provider to help build the world's first commercial mobile operator Wireless LAN system in China.

World's Smallest CDMA Wireless Bluetooth Device
Murata Electronics introduced the smallest Bluetooth radio frequency (RF) device for Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) applications on the market to their line-up. Measuring only 8mm x 6.5mm x 1.6mm, the LMBTA068 series BlueDevice is smaller than competitors' products.
