DAX Technologies said it has supplied network performance management software to Illinois Valley Cellular to support 3G deployment and network optimization activities for their wireless network in their coverage area which extends across an eight county area from the Indiana state line to south of Chicago, to near Peoria, Illinois and on towards the Iowa state line. The DAX Optima network performance management software provides Illinois Valley Cellular with critical network performance information key to optimizing their network performance and assuring the quality of service to its customers as it deploys 3G equipment and services.

Illinois Valley Cellular said today that they deployed the Optima Network Performance Solution from DAX Technologies. "In preparing for the 3G overlay of our 2G network, we realized early on that benchmarking the 2G network performance was key to maintaining the Quality of Service our customers expect. While we had an existing performance monitoring solution, we felt it was not adequate to handle the job.
