3D Java Wireless Phone Game Launched...

11th February 2003

Abstract Worlds announced the release of StrangeMaze 3D, a 3D first person maze puzzle racing game designed for Java mobile phones. The aim of the game is to race against computer-controlled opponents to the maze exit. If you win, you are then promoted onto the next level with a new randomly generated maze each time.

StrangeMaze 3D is available for most Java phones, colour and mono, including Nokia 3410, 6310i, 3510i, 7210, 7650, Motorola T720, v60i, v66i, i95cl, Sharp GX10, Siemens M/MT50, C55, S55. Initially, Abstract Worlds Ltd. are selling the game direct with a free 2 level try-before-you-buy
version. This version can be unlocked into the full 100 level version by purchasing an unlock code via a secure web-based credit card purchase (for global customers) or calling a premium rate number (for UK customers).

"StrangeMaze provides a smooth true 3D first person experience, allowing
you to explore the 3D maze in any direction. It's an original game, which
can equally appeal to the male and female audience who like intellectual
puzzle games as well as racing and 3D games. Replayability is achieved
with randomly generated mazes, landscapes and colours." says Paul Ireland,
founder of Abstract Worlds. "It's no good hearing about the latest and
greatest mobile phone game if you can't get it because it has only been
released to selected operators in selected countries on selected Java
phones. That's why we designed StrangeMaze to support most Java phones and
why we have made it possible for you to get the game directly from us via
WAP. If you can already download Java games onto your phone then should be
able to get StrangeMaze wherever you are."
