mainstream consumer electronics and show in the world and is a place
where manufactures, developers and suppliers of consumer hardware
and content convene to showcase the latest industry developments.

"With an
estimated 250 million smartphones to be in use in 2008, streaming
video is taking the industry by storm. We are extremely excited to
be launching our enhanced streaming video services at CES this year.
Being the single most important mainstream consumer electronics show
in the world, we are here to bring live TV to mobile consumers around
the globe. SmartVideo will enable millions of consumers to view their
favorite TV programs live no matter where they are as long as they
have a mobile media enabled device," said Richard E. Bennett,
Jr., SmartVideo's President and CEO.
SmartVideo has
also been invited to support Microsoft in its MCX Partner Pavilion.
Only companies that have demonstrated innovative and unique consumer
applications for Microsoft products are invited into its Partner Pavilion.
As one of the select participants, SmartVideo will be demonstrating
its robust consumer centric mobile streaming technology on Microsoft
Windows Mobile enabled SmartPhones and mobile PDAs inside the Pavilion.
"Based on
my 40 plus years in the entertainment industry, SmartVideo will impact
the entertainment consumer probably as much as television impacted
radio. The key difference being it took 50 years for television to
reach 100 million households and the cellular industry passed that
mark in less than 7 years," commented Herman Rush, former CEO
of the Columbia Picture Television Group and a member of the Board
of Directors of Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. (now Sony Pictures).
Mr. Rush, a member of the SmartVideo Board of Advisors, is CEO of
MCA, a leading entertainment consultancy specializing in content distribution,
placement and production. MCA is based in Los Angeles.
