: Omnitele Ltd. has been contracted by TELE Greenland to support with
the introduction of advanced multimedia and GPRS services and to prepare
an optimal network migration plan towards 3G.
TELE
Greenland is the incumbent telecom operator in Greenland providing
fixed line, mobile network and TV broadcasting services. Together
with Omnitele the company has commenced an ambitious project aiming
to upgrade the network technology in order to introduce and provide
the best and latest services available. The target is to expand the
network to cover remote villages and hilltops, to include GPRS/MMS
and to offer better speech quality and hence significantly increase
the customer
base.

the coming months Omnitele will support TELE Greenland with service
