New Curitel MP3 Phone

13th December, 2004

ASIA : Pantech&Curitel debuts PH-S4000, a MP3 look-alike. It is designed that all MP3 control buttons are located on outer folder, so no need to open the folder to play music. In fact, its uniqueness of the design got itself the ‘iF Design Award ’ in Europe, 2004.

Other than 4 buttons for mp3 control “play/pause”, “skip”, “repeat’ , and “random”, a 330K CMOS camera and 64 polyphonic sound only shore up PH-S4000’s multimedia support.

Also the slim style (vs. standard style) can only be light as 82 g in weight and 80.5 mm in length, shorter than most business cards. A mini SD card slot can hold up to 256MB memory at your option. Pantech&Curitel provides a free 64mb mini SD card, totaling mp3 memory around 104MB. Contents are downloadable via SKT MelOn. PH-S4000 comes in three different colors of your choice- silver, blue and red.

Pantech&Curitel introduced 28 models this year, 15 of which are MP3 phones. Obvious it may be, MP3 certainly become a new attraction to the young after digital camera, and PH-S4000 certainly an appeal.

GF200 Features include:
• MP3P function
• Dimension : 80.5 x 37.5 X 24.3 mm, 81g
• Memory : 512Mb
• LCD : 128x143, 260K TFT, 1.5”
• Camera : CMOS VGA 330 Pixel Camera
• Melody : 64 Polyphonic Ringtones
