Europe UK : It will be a Merry Txtmas for Harrods customers as Vodafone celebrates the official launch of its new store at the world-famous Knightsbridge retailer on Wednesday 6 December. Inet is Nick Read, CEO of Vodafone, cutting the ribbon to declare the official opening of the new Vodafone store in Harrods.

Vodafone's new store can be found in the Sound & Vision Department, on the third floor in Harrods. As the 348th Vodafone store, it is designed to complement the company's recently refurbished, award-winning high street and shopping centre outlets. Customers will easily find the handset or product they want, plus the store features live phones, so that customers can simply choose the mobile that suits them best.

"This is an exciting time for Vodafone to be working with Harrods and has already proved to be a very successful venture during the short time in which the store has been trading," said Vodafone UK head of retail, Tom Devine. "Brompton Road has always been a specific target location for Vodafone in order to be accessible to Knightsbridge shoppers. We're pleased to offer Christmas shoppers in Harrods the latest mobiles and tariffs from Vodafone."

The Vodafone Harrods store stocks the full range of handsets and accessories and staff are available to advise on all the company's services and tariffs. This includes the new Vodafone Family tariff, where for as little as GBP5 a month, Vodafone UK customers can make unlimited calls to each other. Offering great value, Vodafone Family enables groups of either four or six people, to get free calls between one another at anytime - providing they are all Vodafone customers.
