Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Going For Gold, And there is a new Red version

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rose Gold Editions

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has benefited from an ever-increasing range of colours and Samsung are continuing the trend with the Galaxy Note 3. With the Korean company unveiling three new versions of their phablet, bringing the total number of colours to six.

Two of the new colours are 'Rose Gold' versions of the classic Black and White Galaxy Note 3 design. The silver surround and Samsung logo have been replaced with a premium Rose Gold finish, and you even get a Gold S-Pen stylus to match. They make the perfect companion for the Galaxy Gear Rose Gold, which is already available to buy.

The final new version of the Note 3 is an all new Merlot Red Galaxy Note 3. It's a very rich colour that brings a lot of warmth to Samsung's smartphone and has become our new favourite shade, over the Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink models already on the market.

“By introducing these new editions of Galaxy Note 3, we want to provide our fashion-forward consumers with more ways to express their personality and tastes through our technology.” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rose Gold White will be available in China this month. With the new colours launched in other markets 'based on each market's preference'. We're pretty sure they'll land in the UK, possibly as exclusives for specific operators or retailers.

A wider colour range has become increasingly important over the last year with manufacturers looking for new ways for their products to standout from the crowd. Nokia arguably set the trend with its colourful Lumia range, while the vibrant and varied iPhone 5C marked a distinct change of direction for Apple.

Long may it continue because more choice is always appreciated.
