The Apple iPhone 4S stock shortage looks set to continue if recent reports are to be believed.
Ashok Kumar with Rodman & Renshaw claims that Apple are having a huge trouble meeting iPhone 4S demand due to limited availability of a key component.
The stock shortage is more wide-spread in America than the UK, but is still affecting people on this side of the pond. With Christmas coming up this problem is only going to be exacerbated, which is bad news for Apple.
3G is quite surprised with Apple because they've had problems with stock shortages with every single iPhone launch. Infact, we wonder whether Apple limits stock to build anticipation and encourage early purchases.
We have been skeptical of Apple's practises in the past thanks to the whole White iPhone 4 saga, which has never been explained. We thought they may have delayed the launch to give sales a boost later in the iPhone 4's product life cycle.
However, we'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt in both cases and be happy we can get the iPhone 4S in the UK !
