| Bluetooth Wireless Test Sets Validated |
|
3rd December , 2003 |
|
Europe : Anritsu's MT8850A/MT8852A Bluetooth test sets have received "Test System Validation" status from the Bluetooth Qualification Review Board (BQRB). The MT8850A/MT8852A is the only integrated test set to have achieved validation status for radio layer measurements. Achieving validated status means that users can test products with absolute confidence in the measurements that they make and validated test systems can be used for product qualification or for product assessment prior to submission to a Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF). "Achieving validation status for our Bluetooth test sets has been an important goal for Anritsu" commented Peter George, Business Manger at Anritsu. "Anritsu is committed to developing test instruments for current and future Bluetooth standards, and validation status highlights the high quality of our products" Anritsu's Bluetooth test sets have become the de-facto standard test instruments for design proving and production test of Bluetooth modules and products with a Bluetooth wireless interface. The MT8850A/MT8852A test set supports eight of the fifteen test cases in the Bluetooth RF test specification. Following
its successful partnership to develop the ME7865A Pre Qualification
Test System, Anritsu selected CETECOM S.A. of Malaga, Spain to review
the MT8850A/MT8852A test sets and create a Validation Test Report for
submission to the BQRB. As of October 2003, the BQRB has confirmed that
Validated Test System status has been granted to the MT8850A/MT8852A. |
