The Motorola Defy+ is a tough-phone that follows in the footsteps of its predecessor the Motorola Defy.
Unlike the majority of tough-phones the Defy+ is an attractive smartphone that wouldn't look out of place at a company board-meeting. It's features are above your normal tough-phone standard too making it a good all-rounder for people with physical occupations or active lifestyles.
We reported the Motorola Defy+ last week when it was rumoured to be launching in September and would be priced at around £250. Motorola have now announced that the Defy+ will be hitting the UK sometime this Autumn, so our information looks to have been correct.
The Motorola Defy+ is water resistant, scratch resistant and dust proof ensuring it can survive even the harshest of conditions. The 3.7 inch touch-screen features scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass. Other features include a 1 GHz processor, 5 mega-pixel camera, 2GB of onboard memory and it runs on Android 2.3.
We really like the idea of a good-looking powerful smartphone and the Defy+ certainly expands on what Motorola started with the Defy. Once we get an exact launch date or price you'll be the first to know.
