Talpa Best Watched on Vodafone live! with 3G

Europe : Large numbers of Vodafone customers watched the opening night of the new TV station Talpa on their Vodafone live! UMTS handsets last Saturday. The evening-long programme was offered in full via live TV from Vodafone.

It was the first time that an opening night of a new television channel was offered simultaneously on mobile phones. Vodafone is the first and currently only mobile operator in the Netherlands to offer its customers the option to watch Talpa TV programmes on their mobile.

With the recent addition of Talpa, Vodafone customers now can choose from over 20 television channels on their mobile phone, including CNN, Eurosport, 2GOTV, MTV and news broadcasts from RTL and NOS. Currently Vodafone customers pay only 25 Eurocents for watching 10 minutes of TV on their mobile.
