Verizon Wireless Takes Korean Camera Phones

Europe : Pantech & Curitel is supplying high featured camera phones (model :CDM-8910) to Verizon in the U.S. The news exporting model has a built-in 330K pixel digital camera with embedded flash. 4x digital zoom is supported and photoshop function which users can edit the photos directly, GPS, voice dialing and voice memo are provided as well.

Since Nov. 2003, Pantech & Curitel exported the camera phones (model: CDM-8900) to Verizon, the sales units has been growing in the North America Region. In 2003, Pantech & Curitel exported 3.7million units to this area and it already reached 3million sales units during the 1st half of this year. It’s now expecting to have 7% of market share in 2004.
