TelcoBridges Launches 3G-324M on a Blade
20th April , 2006

Canada : TelcoBridges announced that its highly scalable mobile video solution 3G-324M on a Blade™ is now available to enable the construction of high-performance 3G-324M systems of all sizes. This new addition to TelcoBridges’ System-Blade™ product family is being marketed under the trade name TB-Video System-Blade™.

"TelcoBridges' suite of mobile video products accelerates the development of applications supporting video clip streaming, mobile TV, video mail and video ringback tones. These applications are easily accommodated thanks to TelcoBridges' Video StreamServer™ and 3G-324M on a Blade™ technologies," said Gaetan Campeau, President, Founder and EVP, Worldwide Sales, TelcoBridges.

"TelcoBridges provides system integrators and OEM customers with carrier-class, technologically advanced products, and in this instance, 3G-324M on a Blade™ has been specifically tailored to the needs of mobile carriers," continued Campeau, "Already field-proven through existing commercial deployments for large 3G mobile operators in Asia, TelcoBridges' innovative products deliver more 3G-324M channels per system than any other vendor."

"TelcoBridges offers an innovative implementation of the 3G-324M standard," added Stephane Potvin, CTO, TelcoBridges. "This means call setup times are optimal, capability negotiation is automatic, and above all, integration is easy. In fact, what TelcoBridges has developed is a pure and thorough implementation of the complex 3G-324M standard, which is accessible through a single high-level API call."

TelcoBridges incorporates into its mobile video suite all the elements of the 3G-324M system puzzle: the standard H.223 and H.245 protocols, a simple and easy to use API, ready-to-go sample application source code, a high-performance play and record TB Video StreamServer™, a multiple variant SS7 High-Availability stack, as well as limitless scalability.

"It's simply the ideal platform to develop scalable 3G-324M video streaming applications," continued Potvin, "The TB-Video System-Blade™ supports 120 video channels, full or half-duplex. The TB Video StreamServer™ supports more than 2000 simultaneous video streams per server. Use as many TB System-Blades™ as necessary to support as many subscribers as you wish; and use as many TB StreamServers™ as you need to offer as much content as is required."

"Mobile video is a 'must-have' application that promises to widen the adoption of 3G," concluded Campeau, "and no mobile operator can afford to offer a mediocre level of service in today's market. So, use of the TB-Video System-Blade™, which is a robust and proven carrier-grade telecom blade, means the resulting 3G-324M system is instantly made carrier-class."
