UK : ROK Player announced the release of six major new titles to it's
full-length content roster of mobile entertainment - to include the
hugely popular BBC comedies Little Britain and The Office
through MTV's South Park and V2's Best Indie Anthems - with
something for the footie fans as well.
ROK Player technology
was awarded Patent in January this year for the storage of DRM-protected
audio-visual content on memory cards for play on mobile phones and
other mobile devices whereby ROK Player memory cards operate like
DVD's for the mobile.
"These six
new 'plug and play' titles will be available exclusively online at
www.rokplayer.com " Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman of ROK reported
"before we release them into selected mobile phone shops over
the next few weeks."
Priced at £16.99
each, the new titles add to ROK's existing portfolio of full-length
content on memory cards which includes movies, music video albums,
TV comedies and cartoons.
"We aim to
offer something for everyone with the titles we've licensed at a price
which, when compared to individual short-clip downloads, is great
value for money' added Bruce Renny, Marketing Director of ROK.
ROK Player content-loaded
memory cards are compatible with 18 handsets to include the Nokia
6630, 6680, N70 and N90 and play full-screen at 24 frames per second
with a forward, reverse and auto-pause function.
