WOW! TV is Kamera’s own mobile TV channel, focusing on international entertainment news and targeting people between 12-30 years. WOW! TV has so far been launch in five countries. ”We are very excited about the deal with Tele2. By distributing the same channel, in different languages in multiple markets, we are able to provide mobile user with very attractive content at a low cost”, says Henrik Eklund, CEO of Kamera. Mobile TV is one of the services truly showing the value of 3G. To provide high quality video, high-speed transmission capacity is necessary, and this is exactly what comes with 3G. Therefore operators now launch mobile TV channels with content targeted at people on the move. “Our statistics show that 3G customers like to watch video clips about music, movies, fashion and celebrities. WOW! TV is a high quality entertainment channel covering exactly these areas”, says Henrik Eklund. WOW! TV is available in Tele2’s networks in Sweden and Luxemburg from this week, and will be introduced in Norway when 3G is launched later this year. WOW! TV can be found in Tele2Comvi’s portal GoLive (wap.tele.se). |
