| 3G Success: From Strategy to Implementation |
| 21st
April, 2005 ( see
below for all today's 3G news ) |
| Europe : Yankee Group announced it will release new findings from its 2005 Transatlantic Wireless Business Survey and European Mobile User Survey at its 3G Success Decision Summit on May 3 - 4 at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel. Attendees will be among the first to learn what the next killer applications for wireless data in the enterprise market will be and how best to seize emerging 3G market opportunities. 3G Success: From Strategy to Implementation is the focus for the first Decision Summit of the year. Accompanying leading Yankee Group analysts will be industry visionaries from Intel, Orange UK, Siemens and Vodafone; they will attack the issue of determining what is the best approach to 3G customer segmentation, service deployment, positioning, pricing and distribution. Mobile operators, their partners and suppliers will walk away with the strategic direction necessary to succeed in the rapidly evolving mobile marketplace. "3G is really beginning to change the competitive landscape in Europe," claims Declan Lonergan, director of wireless research, Yankee Group EMEA. "New entrant 3G players have captured significant market share during 2004 and early 2005. They must now make their propositions more attractive to low and mid-ARPU customer segments. The incumbent 2G/2.5G operators must respond with enhanced offerings of their own, leveraging their incumbency status and their superior consumer brand appeal. We look forward to exploring these challenges during our 3G Decision Summit in London." This summit will provide attendees with new opportunities to network with peers, business leaders, opinion shapers and Yankee Group analysts through keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, networking events and exhibitions.
