3D Sound IP
Features
1.Rich Sound Effect Utilizing the Characteristics of Space Between Sound Generator and Ears
With the technique of calculating pure sound characteristics between sound generator and ear (called HRTF), it is possible to obtain accurate localization of sound even drastically reducing the total size of 3-D audio coefficients expressing HRTF.

2.Low Power Consumption
Low power consumption, absolutely indispensable for mobile phones, is achieved by reducing the total size of 3-D audio coefficients expressing HRTF.

3.Calculation of HRTF Corresponding to Reflected Sound Reproduces and Radiates 3-D Audio
Calculating HRTF corresponding to reflected sound in all direction as in studio and halls can express more dynamic and natural sound just as in the live performance.

4.Offering as IPiIntellectual propertyj
By offering 3-D Audio as an IP, it can best suit the design policies of licensees when mounting on system LSI or stand-alone LSI.

5.Providing API Source Code
API (Application Program Interface) source code is provided in order for licensees to reduce the workload on software development.

6.Providing Optimizing Design Tool for 3-D Audio Coefficients
Design tool for adjusting 3-D audio coefficients is provided for optimization of effect in accordance with the acoustical design of mobile phones.
