HTC could become the latest mobile manufacturer to move into the
HTC is one of the leading manufacturers of Android phone, but its presence in the tablet market has been fairly subtle, with only one tablet released. The HTC Flyer is a seven-inch device that launched with Android 2.3 Gingebread – though current sales models will have the tablet-optimised 3.0 Honeycomb version (and older Flyers can be upgraded).
As with its 3G phones, HTC stands out from other manufacturers with Android tablets by customising the Android operating system with its bespoke interface, Sense, which adds extra ease of use features to help setup email, social network and media accounts.
