MeeGO was a Linux-based operating system created by Intel and Nokia and built for 3G mobiles as well as computers and other smart gadgets. Launched in 2010, it was intended to merge Intel's and Nokia's proprietary smartphone OSes, and showed up on just one consumer phone, the Nokia N9 before it was discontinued in September 2011.
